Frustrated and looking to change, I started looking for help. It was then that I came across Oxygen fitness magazine and it changed my life. I began to follow some of the diets and recipes outlined in the magazine, joined a gym, and started to take my health and fitness very seriously. After a long awaited weight loss, I started making noticeable changes in my body and mind. At the suggestion of a friend, I decided to begin training myself for the 2008 OCB Mid-Hudson Classic, and did well for the first time out. After that show, I had the confidence I needed to keep moving forward. I began my serious training in January 2009, with Dave Callari, a trainer with a lot of competition experience, who saw my potential. we began prep for the 2009 OCB Tri-Cities Figure Championships, in which I took 1st place Novice figure tall, Novice Overall, and 1st place Open figure tall. I narrowly missed getting my OCB Pro Card with the Open Figure Overall. Now that I’m in training for my 3rd show in April 2010 with GBN in my corner things can only improve from here! I look forward to training each and every day with the knowledge and support of GBN!!
